My passion for exercise and fitness began early, leading me to compete in Athletics at national and international levels. After earning a bachelor's degree in business and French, I joined the corporate world and worked with the Bank of Ireland for over 12 years.
I then took a two-year sabbatical to study fitness in Bournemouth, England, becoming a certified fitness instructor and personal trainer. Returning home, I realized my true calling was in the fitness industry, so I applied for voluntary redundancy and pursued Pilates teaching.
Introduced to Pilates in my mid-20s to address chronic back problems, I completed my teacher training with Body Firm Pilates in Dublin. Now, I teach both mat and reformer Pilates, witnessing daily the transformative benefits it offers my clients. There's nothing more rewarding than hearing someone say, "I feel like a new person since starting Pilates." As Joseph Pilates famously said, "You are only as young as your spinal column."
