My love for exercise and fitness started at a very young age where I competed both at national and international level in Athletics. I graduated with a bachelor of business and French degree. I went straight into the corporate world where I worked with Bank of Ireland for over 12 years. I then took a sabbatical for 2 years and moved to Bournemouth in England to study fitness. I qualified as a fitness instructor and then as a personal trainer. On my return I knew my love was in the fitness industry so I applied for voluntary redundancy. It was then I decided to do my teaching in Pilates. I was first introduced to Pilates in my mid 20s due to ongoing back problems. It was here also where I did my teacher training with Body Firm Pilates in Dublin. I teach both mat and reformer Pilates. There are so many benefits from practicing Pilates and I see it daily through my clients. Notably pain free from an injury is the best and when someone says “Im like a new person since I started Pilates”. As Joseph Pilates once said “ Your as young as your spinal column”
